Global Impact Initiatives

To support companies in implementing these principles and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the UN Global Compact offers various Global Impact Initiatives . These initiatives provide structured programs to help businesses align their operations with the SDGs and the Ten Principles. Examples include the Climate Ambition Accelerator, which aims to help companies set and achieve science-based emissions reduction targets, and the SDG Ambition program, which guides companies in integrating the SDGs into core business strategies.

Companies interested in joining the UN Global Compact can sign up through their respective Country Networks. These local networks help companies understand and implement the principles within their national, cultural, and linguistic contexts.
